About
My research investigates the market and resource dynamics affecting wood utilization in the eastern United States. Past studies have described tree farmers' forest management; timber price trends; and the economic impacts and contributions of timber products and forest industries via input-output modeling. My goal is to continue to investigate industry trends, build upon the use of the i-o model by partnering it with US Forest Service and life cycle data, and better understand forest management driven factors affecting wood utilization.
