About
During his tenure at Louisiana Tech, Williams performed in the Low Brass Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Brass Quintet, Jazz Ensemble, and Concert Choir. While performing with the Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Lawrence Gibbs, the group opened a concert for Jeremy Davis and the Fabulous Equinox Orchestra, and was a featured ensemble at the 2014 Louisiana Music Educators Association convention. Williams has been an active music educator in the public school system since his graduation from Louisiana Tech University in May of 2015. Outside of the classroom, He is an active performer in the Monroe and Ruston communities as a member of the Monroe Symphony Chorus and the RussTown Community Band. Mr. Williams performed with Jose Sibaja, of the Boston Brass, had a Carnegie Hall debut in June of 2016, and performed at the International Festival of the Aegean in July of 2018.
